It is nice ! I still want to figure out how to map the 4 midi channels to
different instruments, but even with one instrument out of the CZ-101 it
sounds infinatly better than the "native" Music Studio instruments.
I hope we get a music program soon that at least reaches the quality of sound
produced by the "Music" demo (you know Power Cord, Banjo) that was
distributed to dealers last september (october ?).
But overall, if you have ~300 dollars to spend I would highly recommend the
Casio. Even without the Amiga it is a lot of fun.
To get your CZ to use different instruments, be sure that you're in solo,
and then setup your midi program to output on four consecutive channels (e.g.
1,2,3,4 ). If you're using Music Studio, I have a simple song set up for
MIDI in dl1. Its a bunch of fun to reorchestrate the songs for the CZ,
though its amazing how many rotten combinations can be achieved. -Have fun,
