You are mistaken…..HIRES and INTERLACE are two different attributes… screen can be low-res and be interlaced, and it can be hi-res and not interlaced. Three easy steps to Video Amiga-Usage: 1. Buy Animator. (It is great.) 2. Get SETLACE 3. Run SETLACE, then boot Animator. 4. Load your animations, and record them on 3/4". I use a JVC portable deck. 5. Take them to work and edit your brains out…..

i finally was able to record all kinds of stuff to 1" ! All I dis was to take the composite out spigot on the Amiga and attach it to a Video DA. I didn't have to even do anything. I recorded Deluxe Video in the frame -by- frame mode on a vpr-6 ( 1"). The images were incredible. I inyterlaces (setlace 2k lomg) lo-res images. and was able to do single-frame records and i highly recommend the combination. For some reason my Deluxe Paint backup wouldn't work. Go for it !! .

Well, that's wonderful. (See, not so difficult). On the other hand, I don't think that I'll be buying a vpr-6 in the near future — is that an Ampex? Where are you located? Here's the dream—using a film recorder and three exposures, the Amiga can display all 4,096 colors on a non-real time basis . So, how about a cheap CUBICOMP? (I keep harping on this.) If someone could write the software, I'd pay $500 for it, easy, maybe more–cuz shore as shootin' nothing can touch it in that price range. Also have to buy a film recorder to go with it…..approx $5000. Jeric of Wes
