The Compute! editor who was on here is Charles Brannon (76004,73), Program Editor and author of the Amiga columns. Don't be too hard on him; he seems to be an Amiga enthusiast, and can hardly be responsible for the views of the magazine's Founder/Editor in Chief. Don't remember seeing him on here since April/May, about the time that Compute!'s "Amiga Programmer's Guide" was published.

Charles Brannon is not a Compute! editor any more. He left over a month ago, maybe more, I think. His Amiga-oriented column was up for grabs for a while, but I think Sheldon Leemon might be taking it.

Ah ha — word from the editors' underground. 😉 Too bad about C. Brannon leaving Compute! (I HATE titles that end in "!" (Online!, too)). He seems to have been responsible for some of the initial support the magazine displayed during the bleakish days last winter. Wonder if the recent skew in the editorial policy was related to his departure? Should we expect to see C.B. in Amazing Computing in a month or two? heh heh

Editor underground? Whah? Maybe he would like to write for Amazing Computing. Hmm. Sheldon Leemon is writing a little for us now, after I pulled all his teeth out. If Sheldon is there, then he could talk Arlen Levitan into writing, and… 🙂
