Mike: I hope all is well with you. My chipmunk is functioning well. I sent it t o Holmes and had the Chinon replaced with the Teac. The difference is exception al as to the added 'battery power'. I believe the Chinon Chip required recharging every one to 2 hours. The Teac chip does not require charging for eight hrs I have had only two crc errors and I corrected both with crcfix. co and crfind. co. The Write Rom is excellent. I use it in my law practice extensively. The boilerplate feature is exceptional. I have also ordered the 6 Rom Bank. I read your message of yesterday and the thoughts you echoed as to the 6 rom bank connecting to the 200. Have you seen the 6 rom bank and does it interface easily t o the 100? Finally, I have been using the Chipmunk Software from PCSG. I am ove all happy with the software package. I had some trouble with PBASE as it lost information and froze. I spoke with John Lancaster at your offices and he is checking into it. I spoke with him while you were on vacation and I think he is now on vacation. Anyway-that's my brief update. Overall I am pleased with the performance of the products from PCSG> But more importantly I am amazyed with the product support directly from you, from PCSG and from Holmes engineering especially Glenn with Holmes in Utah. As you know the support makes all the difference. I compliment you, PCSG, Holmes and the backstay of this SIG for the support and cooperation which is continually extended! RS

Richard, Thanks for the good words about Holmes and PCSG – I give all the credit to Larry Holmes, a true pioneer. The Teac drive is making a big difference in Chipmunk performance. I expect to be playing with a ROM Bank no later than next Tuesday. A non-serious reason for the delay – plastic cases just came today ! Best Wishes, Mike
