#PASSWD.GEN in DL1
5 messages in this thread
Dave,
PASSWD.GEN (Password Generator) has been merged into DL1 at 2070 bytes, as a
convenience for those who have difficulty in thinking of "unique" word
combinations for password use. This short program will generate 108,900 unique
password combinations from a word list stored as data statements. By changing
the data statements, a completely different 108,900 words can be generated.
While the program is semi-useful as is, it illustrates several techniques that
may be useful in other programs; random number generating, retrieving string
data from data statements, building and displaying strings.

1) Congratulations on excluding "?" from possibles.
2) You quit before we could enjoy: KAMICHI, LITHIA, MULSE, PUCKFIST, SUCCUBA,
ZYMURGY or other wonders!
Wondrous …

WILD WALLOPING WUMPI!!
Youse does nose your words!!!
Well, I originally thought of a dictionary of 200 words, but 200 x 199 x 11 =
437,800, and I can't see anyone having that much diffuiculty dicisioning on a
simple (!) pass*word!
Actually, had to exclude several possibilities…. "?", "!", "^", "=", "_",
"[", "]", and then we get into low graphic symbols…..
I figured over 100,000 was enuf!
