At least it's not the dreaded Black Screen of Death….It's Fatal 100% of the
time.

You know, up until now, I thought it was me doing something wrong, but after
this exchange I'm beginning to think maybe . . . not. Is that sympathy I hear

I just installed Beat Viper VLB drivers…did everything right..changed to VGA
from the DOS\Windows Setup. entered Windows and setup the Viper
.poof…Black screen of death.
Back to the previous version…until I read the readme again. <sigh> Are we
having fun yet?

Now I find none of my video cards will start Windows..I probably have removed
something vital from the .ini files….I will re-install it today.

You previously mentioned something about "Beat Vipers." Is "Beat" a typo or is
that a Viper card? (or an allusion to the '60's?). Good luck with the
re-install.
