Project Files
8 messages in this thread
It has been a week and so far the project files that I uploaded in the SF
Multimedia Forum have not appeared. If anyone is interested in the TIE and
TIE/In project files that I created and is willing to incur the e-mail charge,
let me know and I'll send you the file. It will be in the PC format using PKZip
2.04G. There is a readme file describing the directory structure included in
the SEA file.

Michael,
It took my basic ship .TGA's 2 1/2 weeks to show up…
Yours will probably show here in a few days (weeks)…<G>
Did you get a confirmation message after uploading to the section… If so, it
is probably there waiting to get confirmed or something…
Maybe the sysop was on vacation or something…

Christopher,
I check every day to see if the file is there, but it is almost two weeks
and it hasn't shown. If it isn't there in another week or so, I'll just have
assume that the Sysops rejected it for their own arbitrary reasons.
Michael S. Flynn
Mike,
SysOps don't reject anything. Drop a note to Jenee Burns [70007,3367] and ask
what happened..She usually notifies uploaders if there was a problem. If the
file is accepted it happens in one to two business days.

It could be that since this is a relatively new forum… Things don't process
as rapidly as the other forums…
But if you look at the date-submitted on my ship file, you'll see when I
submitted it, and it just showed up this Monday or Tuesday…
Hmmmm….
Christopher Hoffman
I did say "usually"…sometimes the load is so great that Jenee can't do it all
in just two business days.
Bruce
Christopher,
>>It took my basic ship .TGA's 2 1/2 weeks to show up…
Wow, 2 1/2 weeks, thats strange. It took my upload only a few days.
BTW, what is next for your ship. Are you going to add image maps to the
surface, etc… ?
Chris
You hit it right on the head…!<G>
I bought Paintbrush 5.0+ (Hey, it was cheap…<G>), to help with some of the
image map creation… Currently I am working on the Hull tiling effect that
you see in the shows and in the movies…
I'm thinking that this can be done using A) Specteral (sp?) maps and/or B) Bump
maps… Has anybody tried this? If so, what did you use?
I am also going to add to the design… I think it looks so mundane… Too
peaceful…
It needs Phaser banks and Torpedo bays… <BG>!!!
