#No RUN
3 messages in this thread
Sorry, Ray. No can do with ADOS 1.2's RUN command. If you want to run from a
CLI, then be able to close the CLI down, you must use either ARPs ARUN or
RUNBACK (which is in the Public Domain – to my knowledge). I think that
RUNBACK is in the DLs, but if not, get hold of FACCII from ASDG – a floppy disk
access accelerator – for 39.99 (last I heard). Yeah, I know I'm reopening a
can of worms that has been discussed before, concerning buying a product for a
useful little program, but this product is well-worthit on its own – esp. if
you have > 1Mb of RAM. Anyway, ARP or FACCII, either way, the commands listed
will do it.

Thanx Gabe & Larry, I think I will look-into runback.o and use ARP internally.
I didn't think about distributing arp.library with my program, but I guess that
would be ok. It will certainly get the job done. I think _most_ people probably
have arp.library hanging around somewhere at this point, especially considering
that TxEd+ needs it…..
