#Problems w/ Imagine 2.0
3 messages in this thread
I just got the 3D Modeling Lab book with Imagine 2.0. I installed it but when I
try to start imagine it hangs on the first screen that says "Imagine". My mouse
seems to work but nothing else happens.
I am very new to 3D modeling & animation and I know that since Imagine probably
has some heavy duty memory requirements. Let me run down my system:
Pentium 90, 16 mg ram, Diamond Stealth 64, 1gig Western Digital IDE drive, CD
RoM, etc., etc. I will also have a Micropolis av drive attached soon.
I guess my real question is do I need to run dual a dual
config.sys/autoexec.bat setup (I have MS DOS 6.2)? If so what would be the
optimal setup?
Any help anyone can give would be appreciated!!

I doubt that Imagine 2.0 will work with the 64 but graphics card that
you have, it seems that this card makes some very different calls to the vesa
standard, I could go into this in detail but I think it is unwise due to the
possibility that someone may nis-interpet my comments.,
We are working to rectify this problem, but I can assure that the other
Diamond cards, 24 bit and 32 bit seem to work just fine.
I am sorry, but that is the facts. Maybe someone else on this forum
will have other suggestions that I am not aware of, Good Luck
