#Imagine 3.0 OEM

I just saw an advert down here for a product called "Imagine 3.0 OEM" which was described as a full version of Imagine 3.0 without the box; and less than half the price. Is this a legit product? I assume it comes complete with manuals and everything (but no box!). Will Impulse support the OEM version and honour upgrades for it, or is going this way a bit dicey? Thanks, Stephen.

Stevphen I assume youare in Australia or Europe, the down here comment. THERE IS NOT AN OEM VERSION OF IMAGINE< I would like to know who is doing this so that we can pay them a visit. We sell only full versions of the software and as such will not offer upgrades to anyone who buys one of these pirate versions, no offense to you. However it might be a market ploy by some company, so if you buy one, let me know, in your case I will indeed regsiter you version so long as I know who the culprit is, something you can find out. Also there is a warranty card in the box, whatever it is, if there is not one from US at IMPULSE< then the deal is a stinker, I would appreciate your help Thanks Mike Halvorson President, Impulse

I bought my copy of Imagine from Meridian Software in the U.K. which arrived with me a couple of days later in a jiffy bag. The package contained my invoice, two disks and a black and white spiral bound manual. Could you advise me if this is a legitimate version of Imagine and if I am still covered by the constant upgrade. Many thanks, A worried Dave M

If you upgrade or take advantage of competetive upgrade offers then you don't get the slick box. <g> Just didn't want people to think that there isn't a cool looking package. 🙂 -GreG

Ok I got the upgrade so I didn't get the box. I got a box with my copy of 1.1. Since then I only got updates. But I can do without a nice box if shipping to Europe is less! <g> -David

The OEM side looked suspect which is why I thought I would bounce it past you first to see what the deal was.
