#Crestline On-Line
5 messages in this thread
Hey, Mike!
I finally figured out how to get online. I got my CIS account Monday. What's
your view about me posting some Humanoid info in the Impulse ANVENA Forum?
I actually found the Imagine User Group at GUGRPA first, due to some unexpected
assistance from Greg Tsadilas. (He chatted me up while I was poking around the
3D Studio forum). I've been actively conversing with the Imagine users at
GUGRPA for a few days now, especially about ISL. Greg asked me to upload some
Humanoid News there, so I did. I want to avoid duplicating info in both forums.
Any suggestions?
I think Greg is going to assist me in opening a Crestline Forum for Humanoid &
KineModelz support, and hopefully also to discuss things like 3D character
animation, skeletal routines, motion capture, cross-program techniques, etc.
How is Imagine 3.1 doing on my P90? I quote Peter O'Toole from Lawrence of
Arabia: “NO PRISONERS!!!!……….''

I think you should post objects where ever you feel they will do the
most good, as for duplication of placement, I think that CIS has some feelings
on that but I for one think you should post your work all over the place.,
Good is as Good does.
Mike
Tim,
I noticed your mention of ISL and have been searching frantically for a version
that would work with Imagine 3.0. Do you know where it is posted? You
mentioned to me that an updated version does exist. Also, what is GUGRPA?
Randy
Randy,
ISL is in the IMAGINE USERS GROUP library in GUGRPA (Graphics User Group Forum
A+). Just type GO GUGRPA and you'll magically be whizzed over there. I believe
the files are called ISLIBM.ZIP and ISLAMI.ZIP or something like that. One's
for the PC and one's for Amiga. You'll also find extensive threads over there
on ISL, and you should stay tuned because there are likely to be further
developments on the ISL situation soon. John Grieggs is upset that more people
have not registered and paid their dues.
Tim
Randy,
You can find ISL version 3.0b4 in the Graphics User Group A forum (GO GUGRPA)
in the Imagine User Group file section. Both PC & Amiga versions are
available. ISLIBM.ZIP is the PC executable, ISLAMI.LHA is the Amiga
executable.
