#Renderize Live Animation
4 messages in this thread
Nick,
I recently purchased Visual Reality 1.1 and several other multimedia authoring
tools. I'm having great problems producing AVI files from Renderize Live
animations. One example is this…I am trying to produce an animation
simulating zooming in on a planet (straight line). The resulting AVI file has
'garbage' over the upper 3/4 of the animation with only the bottom 1/4 being
the actual 'expected' animation.
Animations (AVI's) produced with Adobe Premiere 4.0 and PhotoMorph 2 come out
perfectly, as well as AVI's produced with REELtime (video capture).
The software is being run on a Pentium 90, 40 Megs RAM, 2.4 Gig Hard Drive, #9
PCI Video with 4 Megs Ram.
Any idea what's going on?
Dear Steve:
What is the resolution and color depth of the animation you are outputting? It
is possible that you are experiencing a bug. Our next version of Visual
Reality, version 1.5 solves this problem. VR1.5 will ship on or around
February 7. If you need a solution before then, contact me directly at (310)
798-8569 and I'll help you work something out.
Note that this bug only occurs on earlier versions of Visual Reality. It is
not found in Simply 3D.

Will there be a cutoff date for any type of no-charge upgrade. If not, what is
the charge for the upgrade from 1.1 to 1.5?

I'm at work right now and I don't remember exactly the resolution and color
depth. I'd like to say it was 640 x 480 and 24 bit color.
Thanks,

Visual Reality 1.5 will be available as an automatic free upgrade to all
_registered_ users of Visual Reality 1.x.
Based on what you've told me, 1.5 will definitely solve your problem.
