I was recently given Simply 3D as a gift and have enjoyed playing with it using
the
sample images provided. I would like to know if there are any 2D drawing tools
that can generate the .AI files required by Simply 3D other than Corel. Are
there any costing in the range of 10s of dollars other than 100s?

I personally dont know of any tools that will draw AI for $10.00. I just
purchased the upgrade from simply 3D and it comes with a program called Visual
Model that seems to work quite well for drawing 3-D objects. If you are going
to get into doing graphics you are going to have to lighted up that wallet!
