Please excuse my ignorance, but I'm new to PC'S and to Compuserve and this is the first message that I've attempted to send. My problem is that I have downloaded the Photomorph 2 Demo and now I can't get it to come up on my computer, (Packard Bell 486SX 25) when I attempt to bring it up I get a message that says "Not able to open this File because the format is not recognized. Create a new file or open a valid bitmap image file." Can you or anyone else out there help me. thank you. Chuck DuBois

Hello, Welcome to CompuServe, we're glad to have you aboard. When large collections of files are stored on CS, they are typically stored with a program called "PKZIP". PKZIP is a shareware compression program that takes numorous files and makes a single, smaller file. "Zipped" files typically have the extension .ZIP. To "Unzip" a file you need PKUNZIP. This is available on CompuServe. In fact, it can be found in the "New Animation Vendors" section of this forum. Download it, and use it to unzip the demo. Best of luck, Ed Lecuyer Manager, Technical Support

You need to unarchive the file. It it might not be an image…DL PK204G.EXE from the GRAPHSUP forum LIB. 11/UUencoders, decoders etc. and the text file PK204G.TXT on how to use it from GRFWELCOME LIB 16. Bruce Herzog Forum Staff NY 16-Jan-95 at 10:21a EST
