Umm, just exploring what you guys are talking about.
What is Razor Pro and why do people seem to be so adamant on connecting Elastic
Reality to it?
What is a "plug in". This is usually a hardware term but I gather you are
referring to a software addition. Is it a DLL?

Basically, a 'plug-in' is a small program for other applications like Permeire
that adds certain features. In our case a plug in for Razor or Premeire would
allow access to ERI apps like TransJammer or ER itself.
The Razor plugin snafu you might have heard is due to a misunderstanding
between us and In:Sync but we a re working on getting things straightend out.

Razor Pro is a non-linear video editing and assembly program. Clips created
elsewhere are arranged and combined using various "filters" and "transitions".
Each of these two kinds of image processing functions are examples of
"plug-ins". The term "plug-in" describes any software module which can be
added to an existing application simply by copying the appropriate file
to the appropriate place.
Plug-ins might come in the form of dlls but more often will come in the
form of .exe's.
People want us to publish the TransJammer Plug-In for Razor Pro because
it will allow Razor Pro users to gain access to the hundreds of effects
which TransJammer provides. Functioning as a plug-in means that the
effects are provided within the context of the calling program making
for a very seamlessly integrated suite.

Jason, thanks for the message. I am aware of Elastic Reality, what does
Transjammer do?

TransJammer is a transitional effects package containing 100 base effecrt
(make that "effects") each of which have up to 8 variations. The effects
are quite cool and on-par with the state-of-the-art. They are fully
time and resolution independent and are anti-aliased.
TransJammer is also of interest because it can be made to be a plug-in
for Razor Pro and Adobe Premiere. And, owners of both Elastic Reality
and TransJammer can use Elastic Reality to actually edit, modify and
create their own TransJammer effects.
