#samples on CCD

re – downloading
I have subscribed to the CompuServe CD in hopes that I will be able to see more
samples of Animations, Audio etc. for less money. I may appear to be cheap,
but I resist paying $9/hr and taking the time to download and decompress large
files just on the off chance that it MAY be something good. I have downloaded
enough crap to fill too many hard drives.
What are the chances of you getting some of your samples onto the CompuServe
CD?

Phyllis,
I would think that there is a good chance, given that they allow commercial
product demos and/or result demos on the CD.
We have not, to date, been contacted by CIS with regard to this.
As for what's in there, download something small… then decide on the larger
ones. 🙂

Ben,
Thank you for the response and suggestion. I suspect that you would have to
agressively pursue CServe on this. It really isn't to their benefit much, to
put stuff on the CD that they can charge their users to download.
I'll try and take a peek at your samples in your library.

Phyllis

Phyllis,
Sure it would be of benefit..There is so much stuff in the libraries, putting a
taste of it in the CD, piques the members interest to get some more.
