Several photographers in my area and a new wedding planning service have asked
me for demo tapes of my work to show prospective clients. During the last year
I have done some weddings that have turned out to be (in my opinion)
exceptional. I would like to use some of this footage in the demo tapes.
Since I will not be making money on the demos directly, do I still need a
signed release form? I have nothing in my contract that would cover this. Any
opinions welcome.

I would say that you would be VERY foolish to not get releases. Unless you
like getting sued <G>.
