#Ripped-off?
5 messages in this thread
Mike,
I recently realized that I may have been ripped off. A while ago, I purchased
Imagine 2.9 from a sysop of a (non-pirate) bulletin board. He told me that it
was Imagine 3.0. He just had me download it from his board and swore that he
erased it from his own ( which was an Amiga anyway, so I don't think he could
have been able to run it). For quite a few months, I couldn't get Imagine to
work. Then I discovered that it was simply a memory problem. When I loaded
Imagine, to my horror, it said "Imagine 2.9 — Under Construction"… This
really ticked me off. The board had already shut down about a month or two
before, and the line disconnected.
I recently purchased The 3d Modeling Lab book, and found that Imagine 2.9 is
not much different from Imagine 2.0. I am very disappointed. I cannot afford
to spend the money for the upgrade to Imagine 3.0 from Imagine 2.0. I was
hoping that you at Impulse would help me set up some way that I can get into
the $100 upgrade plan (ya know 3.1, 3.2, 4.0.. whatever). I just hope that you
understand what a hassle this has been.
Please help,

What did you want me to do, I am not sure. I would find the guy who
stiffed you and bounce his head of the conrete. Other than that, I am not sure
what you want us to do. So be specific.

I would amend that to say, "…find the guy who stiffed you, get your money
back, and then bounce his head off the concrete." Failing that, sell *him*
something…
