#Visual Reality Upgrade
10 messages in this thread
Hi, I bought Visual Reality both windows and windows NT in Sept. I was
wondering which is the latest version(I have 1.1)and is the company planning to
change the animation from camera to keyframe.
Please let me know!
Thank you,
Lazaro
Visual Reality verison 1.1 is currently the latest version. Look fro version
1.5 sometime in February. The new version will include a far stronger version
of Visual Model, as well as enhancements to the rest of the programss that they
all work closely together through the Visual Catalog software. Now the
products are nicely tied together, and the new Simply Scenes CDs of projects,
objects and images becomes highly integrated.
BTW, the camera animation _is_ keyframe-based.

Yes, but it is not object keyframed. Will it Be in the upgrade?
Laz…
Object animation will be a part of Visual Reality 2.0, due for release in the
2nd quarter of 95.

I am a registered owner of VR ver 1.0 and I never received any notice of
a upgrade being available. What is necessary for me to get the latest
version of VR?

As noted in my response to your inquiry to my mail address, all registered VR
users will receive the upgrade automatically.
All registered VR users please rest assured that we have you in our database
and you will receive the upgrade.

Nick,
I just purchased VR yesterday. Will I be charged for the upgrade to 1.5 since
I just purchased it. I'm concerned about this.
Also, I've been reading through the forum before installing the software. It
looks like backing up my WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory would be a good idea before
installing. Any other recommendations.
I am heartened by your willingness to help new users. I have been trying to
learn to use Imagine on my own and found it's just too hard to try to work
through without calling someone for a hand. So I picked up VR. I'm looking
to take our 2D logo into 3D (not extruded 2D) and then create an AVI file of
the logo in motion to play in presentations. This will be my first project.
Have any books been published on your product?

Wally: Nick is sometimes not around here on the weekends, but I believe that
you will
certainly get the upgrade. One thing I have noticed about the VR people, they
really
bend over backwards for their customers. Don't worry about the upgrade
anymore.
Let us know how you progress with using your new program.

Yeah, as I read on I saw that I didn't even need to ask. Thanks for the
feedback.
Dear Wally:
Congratulations on your recent purchase of Visual Reality
