Previous versions of Visual Font did not support the extended ASCII character
set. That is changed in the latest version of Visual Font, which is going into
production as I speak.

I've found a way around this problem. Using Type Designer (a font editor), I
simply created a new font with the desired characters in the beginning of the
font, where they can be accessed by a keystroke.
But you can still send me the upgrade when it comes out… (grin)
