#HILIGHT Problem
5 messages in this thread
I am having a problem with the HILIGHT ipas, I currently have 3 items in the
video post que (background tga, key frames, hilight). I have set the HILIGHT to
alpha>0 with a hue of 40 and it still picks up the background image with a hue
of 40. Is there a fix? I purchased my copy back in August so I think I have the
latest release?
Thanks Paul Boyd
1. Chose a background TGA without the hue in it
2. set up your hue more specific, like 45 -+5 in the variance slider
3. or render the scene without the TGA in it, then use VP again to combine the

The alpha>0 option is still glowing the previous layer because its non-zero
alpha pixels are accumulated into the next layer's alpha. If you want to
inhibit this, download the NOALPH.ZIP file from DL1, which contains NOALPH.IXP.
Put that right behind the layer that you want to hilight, and it'll inhibit the
alpha from previous layers from being passed down the chain.
