Hi,
My PAR is on backorder (YEA!!! at least I'm getting one)
Anyone care to tell me the trials and pitfalls of getting one in an running?
Thanks for letting me ski your learning curve.

It's a full length card, so if your like me, you've got too many full
length cards. 🙂 Not a single problem on the install, the manual is clearly
written, and my PAR was up and running immediately. I wish all my purchases
where so smoothly integrated into my system!

I had very little trouble with my PAR last weekend!! The card went into my
system with no trouble at all, the harddrive install was just as easy. The only
user error I had was that after I installed the software I was trying to run
PAR.EXE from my root directory even though it was in my path I needed to be in
the DPS_PAR directory. Since then it has been error free!!!!! GOOD LUCK and
have fun!

Is this Todd Bruno? Hi. Yep, hoping DPS clears this additional backlog.

Yep it's me.
Thanks for putting me in touch with Sherwood Animation.
Thanks to David Sherwood for putting me in touch with you.
This club is very circular.
David is rendering off a project for me as I write.
Talk to you soon….actually I might walk by and yell, now that I know how
close you are

If you're running under DOS, you should have no trouble getting it working. If
your running under OS/2, you need to set up a DOS image to make it run.
Other than that, if you plan on using any of the beta versions avaiable here on
ASOFT, remember to _not_ delete any project directories until you are ready to
reformat the drive. Also, there have been reports of people getting bad
backups from the PAR with the Beta software. Fortunately, a new verion should
be out soon to solve these problems.
