Our NT software in a completely 32 bit NT only application. We usually do a special run on CD Gold Disks for our customers that use NT. Our Windows 3.1 software is mainly a 16 bit app, with the exception of a 32 bit rendering engine. The main perfomance enhancement with going to NT or Windows 95 is a faster user interface and more stable performance.

Hello- Just a note: I've been using VR almost exclusively, lately, in Win95, and I've never run into a hitch. Keep up the great work! Steven Cohen

Hello Steve: I'd be interested in talking to you about your configuration, so that I can learn from you. But to be honest, I need to boot myself on Win95 before I can even ask the right questions. I've seen it but I haven't tweaked it yet, so I'm not hip to the ins and outs. If you don't mind, I'd like to contact you toward the end of the month to talk more about it. Is that OK? Best regards, Nick Josephs Visual Software

PMJI, I have noticed Simply 3D in a Tiger software catalog, and am wondering if I can use it with my Designer3.1 or if not, what type of files I need to start from. My interest is primarily for creating "3D" technical drawings from 2D views, nothing terribly fancy – I haven't done "drafting" since high school, but it doesn't seem that such a feat should be that difficult for my computer! It looks like your software can do this? I just need some relatively simply capabilities at the moment to complete illustrations in a "how to" book, but am thinking about the multimedia arena for the future. The only other question I have is in regards to Win 95 compatability -as a beta tester, I am 95% on Win95 right now, and am rather reluctant to buy anything unless I KNOW it will work. If you need beta testers (for Win95 compatability), I would be interested – feel free to e-mail me, and I'll get you whatever info you might need. BTW, the graphics in the ads (Tiger SW) look really great – if the program can make me that creative, I'm interested! db

Thank you for the offer to beta test Simply 3D for Win 95. We have been testing extensively through our own Win 95 beta program. >>…use it with my Designer3.1<< Micrographix Designer? Please clarify, so I can give you an accurate response. Nick Josephs Visual Software

Yes, Micrographix Designer – I have most of the drawings I need to turn into "3D" in 2D form already. I presume that all I will need is to set points and let the program do the rest? How's simply 3D running in W95? Should I get it now or wait for an upgrade? Also, Tiger has a $39.90 price – can I get it direct, or would you prefer I get it there? Thanks, db If you want outside testers, put me on the list!

In responce to your Windows 95 question, I have been using S3D in it since Nov. without any problems. If anything it seems to be even more stable in Windows 95 (but then I have found Windows 95 to be more stable than Win 3.11) Brian Edgin Product Specialist – Visual Software

I have been with the Win 95 beta program since June of 94. We have the latest build of Win 95 (324) and Simply 3D works GREAT on it!! I have yet to buy the full blown Visual Reality, so I don't know if there are any problems there. I cannot wait for the full 32-bit Win 95 versions though! I may just buy Visual Reality for NT instead as we are also running workstation 3.5 (another dynamite product!) Bob Kolosky Phase3 Software
