#Did I lose a reply?

Hi Nick, just wondering, did I miss a response to my post regarding Win95
compatability, and compatability with Micrographix Designer 3.1?
Again I am l looking for something that can take 2D drawings I've already done,
and can turn them into 3D views that are rotatable, etc. doesn't need to be
anything too fancy,as they will just be B&W technical line drawings to
illustrate a book I'm finishing up – I could probably do some of it by hand and
scan it, but IF a program can do it, from what I already have complete, it
makes more sense.
Also, should I buy S3D from Tiger for about 39.90, or would it be better to buy
direct from you – if so how?
TIA,
db
David:
Sorry about the late reply.
>>should I buy S3D from Tiger for about 39.90, or would it be better to buy
direct from you<< You'll save money buying it though Tiger.
>>I am l looking for something that can take 2D drawings I've already done, and

solid filled shapes come in best. Unfortunately, combined shapes (using one
shape to punch a hole in another shape) don't import correctly. By the same
token, text doesn't work too well either.

Thanks, I'll probably try it out – it looks like it might do what I want, as
most of the stuff is simple – can S3d add holes, etc, if i import a basic
shape? IOW, does S3D have some drawing capabilities built in?
TIA

Simply 3D does not have drawing capabilities. You'd have to upgrade to Visual
Reality, which includes a complete 3D modeler.

Hmm, that may be a bit more than I'd "like" to spend, I was really hoping to be
able to use my current drawing package – I may have to try S3D and see if it
can do what I need. Thanks for your help.
