#Aura-LenZFX

Hi Dave,
I tried your suggestion about the alpha mask of the object used in the aura
slot-normal mask to apply aura to an object that is in close procimity to
another
object. I use normal mask ,edge and render with alpha on, but I still get the
jaggies around the object. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
JC
Try using alpha mask, edge instead of normal mask. And if that
doesn't give you the look you're after, then try turning the turbo
option off.
BTW, check out p 22 of the latest Computer Gaming World for a picture
that was created using 3DS and Lenzfx. You'll have to excuse the
blatant promotion but it looked so good that I just couldn't resist
🙂
Hi Aaron,
I'll give the tips a try, and run out and buy the mag ! 🙂
You didn't ask for this, well not directly anyway <g>, but FWIW I
would much rather seem "blantant" promotion of a product by citing
revelvant examples than debates on pricing and whether or not a
product has a dongle. Low key of course. (ooh bad pun <G>)
Hi again Aaron,
I tried both options but neither one panned out. If you want to try
it, its the adblock in the tutorial and I'm trying to do the chisel.
I'm in 800×600 res. It almost seems like the alpha in the mask & the
alpha in the video post render cancel each other out. Most odd.
Can you upload a project file along with the LenZFX .lzf file to me for your
effect. I'll be able to get a better picture of what you're doing if I can
take a look at those.
Aaron
Hi Aaron,
I uploaded the project file to the mesh/project library under the
name adblock.zip. It's my first upload so I hope it goes ok.
