I recently acquired a "used" 2000. It is one of the old machines that
drops the first character from the keyboard every time it's booted. I
don't recall what the fix for this was/is. Anybody remember? –Mike– (The
other one.)
It's 2 capacitors…#c910 and c911 and they're on the motherboard
by the keyboard connector (the motherboard has their numbers screened on
it). You will have to remove the Powersupply/Drive Bay bridge to get to
them.
