#NT/3DS Bundle Deal ?

Has Autodesk given any thought to offering dealers the opportunity to bundle
Windows NT with the upgrade to R-5 ? With 50,000 customers already, mostly
without NT I'll bet, ADESK could negotiate excellant terms on behalf of all of
us with MicroSquish for a "corporate update group buy" kind of deal if they
were so inclined. Of course, considering they are going to market Softimage on
the NT, MS would probably charge us double, or cripple our special version of
NT, if they found out we wanted NT for running 3DS.<G>

I suppose it *could* be interpreted as a marketing question. But I raised it as
a 3D Studio question in response to your encouragement to go out and buy NT
*now* as a headstart. Like most 3DS users, I don't presently use Windows NT,
and so was wondering if there might be a special deal offered by Autodesk, or
it's dealers, now or in the future on behalf of the buying power of this large
special interest group we have here.

Maybe you could also make the suggestion to the marketing group for
Autocad.
Perhaps an offer for when the NT version is released.
