RE: The 3D Studio/IPAS Visual Reference, a book & CD, from New Riders Publishing We are producing a new book/CD bundle entitled The 3D Studio/IPAS Visual Reference which will be published by New Riders Publishing, Indianapolis, IN. The full color book will provide a complete visual reference to the over 200 3D Studio IPAS plug-ins along with an explanation of the outstanding capabilities, the applications, and the key controls for each plug-in. A series of full color image arrays will be used to illustrate the use of each plug-in and its primary parameters. Along with the book will be a CD-ROM containing numerous sample images and demonstration programs along with purchase information for all IPAS plug-ins. WE NEED YOUR HELP. VENDORS: In order to make this book & CD as complete as possible, we need to know about your company and your product. If you have software that is in beta but will be released in the next few months, we can review that as well. ARTISTS: If you have any images and animations that feature the use of IPAS plug-ins we would like to include them on the companion CDROM. We will include credit and contact information along with the images, so please send that information as well. Images should be suitable for viewing on the screen at 640×480, 800×600, etc. Animations should be less than 5MB in size. Please remember, time is extremely critical. If you want your program to be included in the book, we need to get a copy by March 15th If you have sample images and animations, we can accept them until April 1.
