Amiga Turbo Pascal

(RE 22465) Turbo Pascal for the Macintosh is very close to beta test
stage. The author of Turbo Pascal is currently working on Turbo Pascal 4.0
for the IBM PC. I suspect the Amiga version will be the next one after
TP4/IBM. Knowing how Borland works, we might see TP/Amiga in late '87. Or
it could be much sooner or much later — their plans & priorities keep
changing. Sigh. – Bela
Thanks for the info, Bela. I suspected that they were holding back for
some reason. I called Borland about a week ago and spoke to Steve Howes
who was EXTREMELY evasive, to the point of saying that C/A had stopped
production on the Amiga! And we wonder how rumors get started! In any
case, he finally told me that Borland would have a statement in about a
month about T/P, so all we can do is wait. Let me know if you hear
anything else. Ted

why don't we just admit it to ourselves that Phillipe Kahn has become just
like the rest of them. Amiga Turbo Pascal is vaporware. And we've all

Think anyone would be interested in a Turbo-Pascal-like compiler for the
Amiga, but not from Borland? (I.e., possibly sooner.)
