#3D Studio in Paris ????

Does anyone know of anywhere in Paris that I could WORK, INTERN, or take
CLASSES in 3D Studio? I will be there this spring through ? and prefer to speak
English. THANKS for any input.

would like to give some lessons….

That's right, I'm starting the "3DS French Connection" where overseas people
come and visit and explore the finer details of 3DS while munching on baguettes
and patisseries. I've organised portable excursions where we load up the
portables and head off to some of Paris's best monuments for some great
rendering sessions. Remember to bring your torch for the session deep in the
catacombs. At the end you get a badge and t-shirt inscribed with "Pixel pushing
in Paris" <g>

As for taking classes, I suggest you read all the tutorials, then the reference
manual, then Inside 3D Studio, then complete some of the NAUUG courses and then
voila you will have an intimate knowledge of the program. This "self-training"
course is much cheaper and reaps more sustained returns than completing a
single course. Remember the 3DS motto "Persistence and practise!"

Il y a peut-etre un probleme la. While most large computer graphics companies
here deal with english-speaking clients the majority of Parisiens prefer to
speak French, just like the majority of Americans prefer to speak English <g>

I'm a devoted user of Autodesk products. Mainly Designer (that's 3-D solids
modeling). I'm really considering 3-D Studio, but I'm concerned about the
cost. My concern is, I wonder if all this advanced training in 3-D will
actually pay off in the long run.
