Dear Members of the ISDN Forum,
I am currently in the planning phase to install an ISDN connection in my home
office.
What can I do for using the "old" analog Equipment.
Equipment list:
1 x 14400bd Modem
1 x Telefone
1 x Fax
1 x answering machine
1 PC Toshiba 4600c
1 PC Hp Vectra 486/20
1 Printer HP 550c
Which kind of TA-Adapters are available ?
What needs to be done if I use a Ta adapter AND a ISDN -PC Interface ?
Best regards,
Alex Beer

you can use a TA a/b or a small pabx which provides you with some a/b adapters.
There you can plug in your analog devices like modem, fax, etc. I have recently
bought such a thing in Germany for $400 US. You should be able to get it even
cheaper. Just make sure that you no NOT buy an ISDN card with a build-in
U-interface but with an extra NT (Network Terminator) which provides a
S0-Interface as a BUS. There you can plug in several ISDN devices and adress
them with different MSM (Mutiple Subscriber Numbers).
good luck

Does anybody know how to get into CompuServe with ISDN (I managed it with my
ISDN Card after a 3 hour trial ! But only with Fossil Driver and int14).
Is there any faster way ?
What do I have to do and what is the best software to do it ?
Will ISDN be supported with WIN95 ?
Many questions, I hope for answers

I know only about the way you described. In Germany there is only one ISDN
access with 9600bd. What you (and everybody else who reads this message) should
do is ask Compuserve for ISDN support through a standard interface (e.g. CAPI
2.0 which is the today de facto industrie-standard) which also means 64kBit.
Furthermore compuserve must offer direct 64kBit access in the near future or
they will have essential competitive problems, because most other providers
like internet offer that.

Yes, G. Diehl ISDN who merged with EICON Technologies are offering that. you
can reach them through "INTERNET:sales@eicon.com" or in the EICON compuserve
forum or send a fax to +49 6074 8535 88.
