#Epson Stylus driver?
4 messages in this thread
Anybody know of a printer driver for the 'Epson Stylus Color' Inkjet printer?
I've tried all the Inkjet drivers on the 2.04 WB disk.
I can print text using the EpsonX driver, but no color…
Any help or leads would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Ed: There are a couple of printer drivers for the Epson Color Stylus. One
made by Endicor Technologies is a pretty basic preferences driver that has
its prefs program for setting things like MicroWeave printing, print
alignment, etc. You can contact them at 210-650-4988.
The other is the Studio II package from Wolf Faust. It is a very complete
package, although a little bit complex in getting things set up. It
includes the Epson Driver (as well as tons of different printers), a
driver preferences program, and the Studio image printing software. You
can purchase the Studio II software from most mail order houses, and I
purchased it through Safe Harbor.
One thing I'm finding is the amount of experimentation needed to get good
image prints at 720 DPI. I can usually do very well by using ADPro, adjust
the Gamma to 80, and then print it using Floyd dithering. I haven't quite
found the secret to using the Studio software yet but I still keep
plugging away.

John,
Thank you VERY much for the info!
Although the printer is pretty new, I figured there had to be a driver out
there somewhere.
Don't know if i want to buy a program just to get the driver…
Thanks Again,
Ed.
Ed,
When it comes to Epson Color I don't think you have any choice. You wanna a
driver? You buy one. Sorry (blame Epson)
