James,
I feel the same way about my computer. I retired from the Army recently, and
while I was waiting for my Amiga to catch up with me (along with all the rest
of my stuff), I bought a 486. I started with 4 meg RAM but quickly went to 8
meg when I figured out that I couldn't do very much unless I did. It was a
happy day when I got my Amiga back, and now I'm on it more than my 486. I'm
embarrassed to say though that I'm using it to write this (if there's a program
for the Amiga like WinCim, I'd like to know)
One note – today I was reading an article that Intel is designing chipsets and
software so MS-DOS users wouldn't have to buy video and sound cards. Hmmm….
I wonder if thy'll name them Agnus, or Denise, or……
George
Intel's widely known for original thinking. <har>
The only CI$ program for the Amiga that I know of is AutoPilot. It works
well enough for my needs.
