How can I obtain the updated version of Stewart Nutters CP program which
was described in an article by Ron Winters in issue #159 (winter 1989)?

You'll find it in Library 10 under the heading of ACM.ASC. There is also a
version compiled with Turbo C.

Thanks Tom. I understood from the description in DL 10 that the Turbo C
version is the old one (Stewart Nutter's original) and not the new version
described in the C issue and contained in ACM.ASC. I'll try to check it
out.

No, I brought it up, and it's the new version.

No, the Turbo C version is one that I ported from Ron Winters' code a
couple of weeks ago.
