I am looking for a C subroutine which does spline fits. Carol Barron told
me there might be such a routine here at this forum. Does anyone know the
name of this routine and which library it is located in?

I don't know of such a routine on CIS, but see if you can get a copy of the
book "Numerical Recipes in C." It has the spline fit that you're looking
for.
