Is anyone using the Matrox Impression Plus with 3DS? Does this card live up to all the hype?

I don't know if anyone else is using the Impression+ with 3ds, but I do know that I am not. I have a 4Mb Imp+ that works very well with Autocad, but there is apparently a wait on drivers for 3ds. Rather depressing, since I bought this board mainly for use with 3ds. Am eagerly awaiting the day drivers are released so I can see just what this thing can do.

Hi John, << video problems.. >> You may want to start a dialog with Nik Grant[adesk] 70421,76. He's tracking all 3ds video driver issues. jonas[adesk]

John, All I've been hearing are horror stories about it. Apparently nobody told Matrox you don't get a second chance to make a first Impression! <g> Good luck! -Scott

Greg, >>That was baaaaaad! :^)<< How come you're the only guy on this forum that gets away with bad puns? I try to follow in your (animated) footsteps, read all your intimidating books (I even use the big one for a combination foot stool & alter for Zen-like inspiration), but truth be told, all I really want to do is to drop a lousy pun once in a while. Is that too much to ask? Will I ever see the chicken with lips, or will I eventually just render myself into 3D oblivion? I need answers, Greg, and I need them yesterday! I won't sleep again until you come out with another sadistic masterpiece! Steven King writes nursery rhymes–you make me squirm. <bg> -Scott (You can call me Grasshopper) Lawrence
