Users of all programs and platforms are welcome, regardless of skill level or professional status. However, presentations are geared towards the experienced 3D user. The 3DArtForum extends a special welcome to new attendees, and thanks those returning for continued interest. Developers & studio reps are also invited to scout new talent, and pick up new tricks of the trade. To facilitate the greatest candor from presenters, and avoid any potential misuse of copyrighted material, cameras, camcorders and tape recorders are not allowed into the meetings. However, note-taking, questions and commentary are highly encouraged. 3DArtForum's mission is to assist users in charting a course through all the rapid changes taking place in the field of 3D graphics, to get the most out of the medium. Presenters are encouraged to demonstrate their approaches within the framework of the creative process, as a means to an end, to help other users put the information into better perspective, and apply it in their own work. For those who have already found success in the field of 3D graphics, 3DArtForum offers an opportunity to gain new insight through an examination of others' work, and to pass on a little of the windfall to users with the same interests and aspirations. Anyone interested in doing future demonstrations should contact organizers at the meeting. Presenters are not expected to reveal treasured proprietary secrets, but unique approaches to working in the 3D medium are appreciated. For further program info contact Gene after 12 noon at 213-384-8711, or Tim at 909-338-1786. Address correspondence to 3DArtForum, 1341 Ocean Avenue, Suite #349, Santa Monica, CA 90401-1066. If you can't make it to the 3D Art Forum meeting yourself, then we'd certainly appreciate it if you'd pass the word on to any friends that may be interested. Terry Wade and Leslie Freeman can be reached at General Employment in O.C. at 714-935-9600. Please mention you got their number via the 3D Art Forum. I'm sure they'd welcome a call from you. Although we're happy to pass on the contact info, you should know that these General Employment agents are in no way affiliated with, or endorsed by the 3D Art Forum. From what I hear they're pretty good, but use them at your own risk.
