Hello from AV Consultants in Oakland CA. We're currently Hi8 to 3/4SP and
shoot with EVW300. May purchase a UVW1800 soon. Looking to get into
non-linear in about a year. Rent our 2 offline edit suites and do duplication,
too.
I also write for Video Pro Magazine and recently reviewed the FAST DPR.
Currently reviewing the Pinnacle Alladin and would like feedback from folks
familiar with this. I teach introductory video production at Univ of CA
Extension.
New to C-Serve and main reason for joining was video production forum.

Hi Stu,
Welcome to the DTV Forum! I have played with both the FAST DP/R and the
Alladin and find them both excellent products. The Alladin is one heck of a
real-time DVE, and Alladin Paint/Inscriber CG/Crystal Topas aren't slouches
either.

thanks for the reply. I'm new to c-serve and am looking for video forums. any
other places to look.
I have my own prod, post company in oakland ca and write occasionally for Video
Pro magazine and others. Frequently want to get video users' comments on gear.
how did you get your hands on the DPR and Alladin? What do you do.
