Hi! This is a bit far afield for this forum, I know, but I figured I'd just ask
anyway.
I'm doing an article on Laptops/Notebooks w/built-in CD-ROM drives. Does anyone
know which companies are doing these, and has anyone had any experience w/them?
I know about the IBM Thinkpad, and I hear Panasonic has a model, but other than
that I'm lost.
Also, if there are optional CD-ROM drives that work w/standard laptops, it
would help to know about those, too.
Thanx!

Tim:
IBM and Panasonic are good ones. I've used the Panasonic and thought it was
terrific. The CD-ROM is under the keyboard, with room for a second CD storage
compartment.
Check Toshiba too. I know they have at least a luggable with a CD-ROM drive.

Thanks for the tip!
