Well its a windows DTV setup. It needs a 486 66 DX/2 for the editor. 24 Meg of RAM recomended. The Boards for video capture are the Personal Animation Recorder and TBCIV by Digital Processing Systems. You use this to capture to a dedicated IDE hard drive (a large Hard Drive). Razor Pro is a DTV editor that reads and wirtes ANI files ( the native file format of the PAR). Razor is a powerful package that lets you create your own wipes / transitions over time and save them useing their base tools. It has its own titler that uses True Type Fonts supports Kai Power Tool plug-ins and will soon have plug-in support from Elastic Reality. Chroma Key,Infintie overlay, Alpha Chanel,Mattes and all the standards are supported. This includes Field rendering of effects.. Razor Pro is by In:Sync Corp.. You can reach Jamie Carr from In:Sync through Compuserve. All and all you can get into this system for under 5.5K if you have the computer for it. Else add the price of the computer.. Also the PAR board output is being used on many broadcast like Babalon 5 and Sea Quest. Hope this helps. Bob The Design Shop.. Bob
