I have not been successful getting Auto<pilot to dial into CompuSe5rrve. I think I will have to give up trying. I'd like the next best terminal program that does a good job similar to AutoPilot. I somehow don't have the wright commands for my Amiga 1200 and Modem. I'd like a recommendation for an adequate online manager.

What is the exact problem that keeps your AP from dialing into compuserve? I had some problems at first too, I had to write a special "before" script to get into compuserve. Give more details, maybe help is possible! Greetings from Germany Michael

Michael, I just got in two days ago using a regular CompuServe Node. I was trying to get in using a Telenet number but was unsuccessful. I used the Before1 Script in the Docs for Telenet but must have made some errors. I'd still like to use that number if I can get the script right. Any ideas? –Joan Hitting fairways and greens!

Joan, as I am calling in from Germany I don't know much about Telnet at all. When I tried to get into compuserve via the Frankfurt node with autopilot for the first time it would not work. I tried it with a regular terminal Program (Term 4.0) and noticed that once I got a connect I had to hit the Return key once to get the Host: prompt. And that is all I am doing with my before-script now. If you can find out what you have to do to get into CIS with a terminal programm using your telnet number you should be able to write a before script that does just the same thing.
