Could anyone suggest a program/source to help create "random dot" stereograms
?

I've seen three books, at least 2 with programs, at Barnes & Noble book
store. There's also a product that works with 3D Studio, called Quick 3D. Info

The Quick 3d program was advertised in the AutoDesk Multimedia
catalogue and I contacted the outfit some three weeks ago. They do
not return phone calls, (when I do get through, I end up with a
non-English speaking person) and I am advised of shipping dates that
they do not meet. I lost patience with them and hence placed the
message on CompuServe !
If you actually recall the names of the books do let me know as I am
not near a Barnes and Noble here in Vancouver. I know of the ones you
mean like in Corte Madera.

has everything you need to know and the software to make RDS. It comes with
RDSGEN which is also available on CIS (GO GRAPHDEV). Dan can also be reached at
72537,1341.
I've used RDSGEN to create SIRDS images based on geometry made with 3D Studio.
