Jonas,
This A.M. the folks at Autodesk told me that no upgrade path to ipas
v.4 exists (from release 3). I have seen threads in this forum discussing
upgrades. Please help!!!

If we're talking IPAS3 upgrade to IPAS4, it's $25. If we're talking
3DS3 to 3DS4 then there is an upgrade for this too. Did you call
either 1-800-538-6401 or 1-800-879-4233? If not, who did you talk to?

I called 800-879-4233. i got shifted through six levels of
the phone system before ending up with the receptionist who told me I
needed to talk to customer service, who had just connected me to the
receptioinist!!! Anyway she got me back to customer service where a
young man told me I had to buy IPAS r.4 outright because there aint
no upgrading! I found this curious because 2 of the people I had been
connected to earlier told me this upgrade was free!! Hmmm…. In any
case, the whole process ate 42 mins of my time and got me nowhere.
Sadly, of the five times I have tried to get product info from Adesk,
3 have been experiences such as this. On the brighter side, I have
communicated with you three times now and have had my questions
answered in timely and curteous fashion, which I highly appreciate!!
