I have created a presentation using Animator Pro and have put it to video tape and 3.5 disk using GRASP to create an interactive disk. The question I have involves the charge for creating multiple video tapes. I have already collected for the work done, but the client will be asking for more tapes soon, and I was just curious if anyone had any suggestions as to how much I should charge for each additional tape (at least what percentage over the cost of the cassette itself). I will be custom printing the labels, and using the PAR to lay-off to 1/2" tape. Thanks for any suggestions.

James, Sorry I can't help on your question. You mentioned that you used GRASP. Is this Multimedia GRASP by Paul Mace software? I am considering purchasing this program. If this is the same program we are talking about, can you give me some personal insights? BTW, did you pay full list or did you find it discounted somewhere? Thanks, Bob W.

>> You mentioned that you used GRASP. Is this Multimedia GRASP by Paul Mace software? << Yep, but I have GRASP 4.5 and not the MMGRASP, but I understand that MMGRASP is a bit more robust. >> can you give me some personal insights? << Yeah, first off, GO GRASP and talk to the real professionals about what you need, I'm just a beginner with GRASP. This is my first GRASP project, I hoped it would be easier but then again I know practically NOTHING about programming, but I've somehow managed to get this project finished. The People at GRASP are very helpful, also, you might want to talk to Dick Brandt 71552,1573 he uses GRASP with Animator Pro and has helped me out a LOT. You may also wish to check out Autodesk's latest Authoring software if it has come out yet, just look for it in the libraries (not sure which one), there is some kind of press release there. >> BTW, did you pay full list or did you find it discounted somewhere? << <blushing> Uhm.. I paid full list. Is there a place I could have gotten it discounted? I've come under the impression that GRASP is not planning on upgrading their software anymore, I don't know why. But you will get some intelligent answers to most of your questions in their forum. Hope this helps. -James Franssen

Thanks for the info. I haven't even started calling around for availability yet, so I don't know anything about discounted pricing. (no need to blush!) Since I haven't decided on a product yet, I'll check out the Autodesk product. Once I get more involved, I may be talking to Dick. Thanks again, and I'm glad you were able to get your project done. 🙂
