#Animating RayMan

Is it possible to let rayman render a sequence of images from a .3ds
file? If there's a way, I can't seem to find it.
RayMan release 1.0 can`t render animation. You could try the following:
– generate a sequence of 3DS files (for e.g. SCENE000.3DS, SCENE001.3DS and so
on…)
– make a rnder-batch file like:
RAYMAN SCENE000.3DS MYINI.INI
RAYMAN SCENE001.3DS MYINI.INI
…
This is just an idea. I don`t know whether it works or not. You might have a
little different anti-aliasing from image to image but I`m not sure. Try it out
and tell me what happend…

Hi Michael,
I had thought of doing the sequence-of-.3ds files for animation. but I was
hoping that there might be another way. I'll give it a try though (it'll take
a while)
thanks

Hi Kyle,
much luck. I`m looking forward to see the resulting .FLC.
BTW: I wanted to write a script to automate the saving of the sequenced .3DS
files but I haven`t enough time. Maybe anyone out there can write such a
script…

Michael,
<< I`m looking forward to see the resulting .FLC.>>
so am i 🙂
Actually, It's going to be even more complicated than I thought – I'm animating
with bones. – individual meshes for each deformation instance. yummy!

Uuups. That sounds complicated! But try a basic scene with a glas and
a ball that rolls slowly behind the glas. Very very interesting
effect. After you did it look for a job that wants exact this
animation <bg>.

Maybe I should do three spheres – one red, onre green, one blue – all moving
around on a checkerboard floor, with a teapot in the background, with a
mancelbrot image for the sky. talk about a CG cumpolsory image (g).
