#CD-ROM Laptops?

Boy, am *I* glad you let me know about that! I've been seriously considering
getting a CD-ROM external drive to attach to my wife's laptop, and figured this
wouldn't require reconfiguring her computer (she gets all *agita* when I do
things like that <g>).

Well <cough, cough>–it's for USAir Magazine, the in-flight magazine for USAir.
Actually, I'm not sure *where* it's available, outside of on USAir flights–but
I'll ask my editor about where else it can be gotten, if anywhere. That's why
their interest is more to data transmission than to multimedia–most of the
readership isn't apt to be designing multimedia presentations on their laptops
(or anywhere, probably!)…

no, but they might be playing "7th Guest" or "Myst" on them <grin>. But then,
if they're doing something with their laptop in-flight, they won't be reading
the magazine, probably… kind of a catch-22? 🙂
