I have a selfish request. So any responses are personally appreciated. I have a unique opportunity at a critical point in my career. I was brought on with my current employer 1.5 years ago to work as a graphic designer in a small but growing marketing department. The capabilities of this small group is growing and I have the chance to rework my job description. I am looking for some strong language that those "Human Resource" people might pick up on. The job entails the following: 1. Design for all printed material, marketing and otherwise for the company, if not done internally, to direct outside sources 2. Desktop Video Production. Created on a non-linear Mac based system. I do the entire production from concept to delivery, including 3D broadcast quality graphics and animations. I direct outside sources for shooting and script writing. 3. Multimedia. Produce slides and our goal is to expand to multimedia presentations, CD-I, CD ROM based powerbook presentations, etc. – including clips from our in house produced videos. 4. Although I am the sole designer now, we will add a designer under my supervision later this year. Anyone have similar functions outlined in their job description and willing to share with a fellow designer? Thanks for any help, Paul

Digital imaging. Good words to describe it. I hope Human Resources is up on this stuff and doesn't right me off as just a traditional artist. I know they compare it to other similar positions in the health insurance industry (that's what we do), but I doubt there are that many of us. Thanks for the input, Paul
