HELP! I'm a new Amiga user and bought the developer's manual which has the ALINK and ASSEM cmds. Where ARE these?

Mark, these are commands that are needed to Assemble and Link an Amiga 68000 Assembler program. That part of the manual is useless unless you buy the Assembler. Bri * Reply: 13123

The Amiga documentation is scattered in a number of volumes. Info about the linker and assembler appear in the AmigaDOS developer's guide, which you get with the assembler and with C. The linker is available with the macro assembler, Lattice C, and Pascal. The assembler, of course, only appears on the macro assembler disk. You can buy these langauges individually from your dealer, or order an entire developer's kit from Commodore. * Reply: 13121
