I am Darryl Davidson, from the 'Outback' state of Idaho, and tonite was my
first visit to CIS… I have been playing with micro's since 1978, but haven't
had anything to be proud of… or anything to say, until now. I hope someone
out there is going to be gentle enough while I learn the I's and O's of
Telecomputing and my Amiga… I'll return the effort some time, I am sure
Darryl,
Welcome to both the Amiga Forum and Amiga ownership!! I think you'll
find us full of "kind souls" here who are always willing to lend a hand. If
you have any problems, please feel free to ask. You can direct your question
to someone specific or just to ALL. Even if you direct it to a specific
person, it's considered quite all right for some one else to jump in with an
answer.

Welcome – there's plenty of help here to get you familiar with the Amiga and
CIS. BROwse the help files in DL0 to start you on the road to
uploading/downloading. You will also need ARC.EXE and ARC.DOC in DL4 and
ARC.HLP in DL0. We have terminal pgms in DL4 as well. Don't be afraid to ask
as many questions as you need. Marlene
