Hi Bela-san! Sorry to bother you again, but I thought that maybe my last
message got lost in the shuffle. My question is this: how can I save graphics
windows from AmigaBASIC in IFF files, and if that is impossible (or nearly
impossible), how can I simply print out the picture on an Okimate 20? I have a
simple program that draws in perspective in med-res, and one in hi-res,
Cartesian coordinates in 3-d space, thanks to an article in BYTE of a couple of
years ago. Would you like me to upload it?

Craig…two PD programs may help you. SAVEILBM will save ANY
amiga screen to disk as an IFF file providing you can get to
a CLI window to run it….. SCREENDUMP will dump any screen
to printer, it runs in its own menubar. Sounds like SAVEILBM
would solve your problem. It's in the library.

HR's got you covered, I think. Definitely upload your programs! They sound
interesting. – Bela

Thanks, Bela–I will. The 3-dimensional Cartesian space is defined by the user
as data statements at the end of the program, and the image for the format used
is in a REM statement immediately preceeding the data. A box 1 foot square on
each side sitting twenty feet from the user is loaded as an example. I user is
loaded as an example. I am currently using the program in scene design for the
theatre to determine sight lines and such.
